  • Artist Statement

     

    This avant-garde enamel piece was born out of a wild, nebulous night at a crawfish boil, where the community gathered and the music got ever louder and more boisterous, until the edges of convention cracked. All who were there to drink and laugh together adopted this proverb: "We're fools whether we dance or not, so we might as well dance." And so they did.
